Pacuare Rafting FAQs

We primarily offer two and three-day trips on the Pacuare River. Occasionally, we have a one-day trip as well, but not often. The reason we shy away from the shorter Pacuare river trips is because the experience of these half and full day outings misses a lot of what the Pacuare has to offer. (You can read more about this here.)

Our trips include all the necesities. Lodging, meals, guides, and equipment are all provided in your trip fare. Some items, such as sunblock, you will need to bring. See our packlist here.

The rapids on the Pacuare range from Class II to IV, meaning they are beginner-friendly but exciting. Doing periods of high water, some Class III rapids turn into Class IVs, and during periods of lower water, some Class IVs turn into Class IIIs. Read more about the rapid ratings here.
