Close to town and the pacuare river
Get ready for the Pacuare River
When we started offering Pacuare river rafting trips, we realized that many guests were looking for local lodging the night before their trip launched. We’re happy to have recently completed our Turrialba Vista, private guest rooms featuring a stunning view of Lake Angostura, and when the rainforest clouds cooperate, views of Turrialba Volcano. This lodging is only available to those joining us on one of our experiences such as the 4-Day Ultimate, 3-Day Raft + Zip, or the 2-Day Pacuare River Trip.
At a glance
Turrialba Vista is $200 / night and sleeps up to six people
It’s two guest rooms just below our main house.
One room is one queen one bath, the other two rooms each have two singles and their own bath
We call them guest rooms but it’s really a separate home entirely.
Breakfast included
These are private guest rooms on my family’s property and you’re encouraged and welcome to join my family for breakfast in the main house. We treat everyone like family. And if that doesn’t fit your schedule, then Turrialba is close by and has plenty of dining options as well. Just let us know.
Please keep in mind there is no kitchenette in the Turrialba Vista.
Turrialba Vista
We’re just minutes from “downtown” Turrialba yet far enough away that you won’t hear the city or street traffic.
Close to town, yet in the country
- This accommodation is best suited for those starting a Pacuare river experience the next day. If you’re looking for lodging after your Pacuare trip, we highly recommend the Kapu Tree House.
- We love dogs and hope you do too :). You’ll get to meet Rocky, Shaq, and the other dogs that we love dearly. While they’re not allowed at your guest house, they will likely greet you when you arrive, so please keep that in mind.
- We treat everyone like family but also respect your privacy. If you don’t plan on joining us for breakfast, we’ll happily suggest places in town.
