Staying Close to the Pacuare River: 3 Places Near Our Meeting Point

One of the reasons the Pacuare River is so beautiful is that it is remote. That remoteness also means you won’t find tons of lodging options nearby for before or after your river tour. Fortunately, the options available are excellent, and we’ve listed them here.

Finca Tres Equis

Seven minutes from our meeting point, you’ll find Finca Tres Equis. They offer rustic yet cozy accommodations on their farm and they have terrific views of the Turrialba Volcano. Frequently used by hikers on the Camino de Costa Rica they offer a variety of lodging including cabins and a glamping setup.

Pacuare Mountain Lodge

Fifteen minutes from our meeting point is Pacuare Mountain Lodge. They feature six cabins with a stunning property. Please note they are currently in a renovation and will be closed for a few months.

Casa de Eric y Fer

This homestay is a one-minute walk to our meeting point. Eric and Fer are amazing hosts and are very knowledgeable about the Pacuare River. They are fluent in both English and Spanish, and if you’re looking for a comfortable, authentic, and amazing Costa Rican lodging experience, this is it. You can contact us for their booking information.
