Trip Itinerary

Your adventure kicks off at La Cruz, located near Turrialba, where we’ll raft Class II and III rapids, stop for a delicious lunch on the river, and paddle into the Rio Vista Lodge. After a 10-minute trek through the Pacuare River canyon, you’ll reach our lodge among the wild and scenic rainforest.

Day two starts with a hearty Tico breakfast to prepare for a packed day of adventure: We’ll zipline, hit the Tarzan Swing, go on a hike to swimming holes and jump rocks, with a break for a delicious lunch. Back at the lodge, we’ll hit full relaxation mode with drinks and dinner.

On the third and final day, we head back to the rafts and tackle the hardest whitewater yet. We’ll enter the famous Pacuare Canyon, a 200-foot walled gorge with massive waterfalls and Class III and IV rapids. Riverside lunch and a gorgeous float through the famous Dos Montanas canyon section breaks up the wild whitewater, and we’ll take out in the town of Siquirres, where you can change and shower into clean clothes and say farewell to your guides.
